The word you're looking for is "raft" - not "brim".

Re: SPINELESS BRIM - Remove your part easily and save PET Ta

1) What's this got to do with "Hardware"? 2) So you started a new thread, that simply links to a different thread you started here at the Lulzbot forum? Not the best forum etiquette. 3) If your parts are sticking to the PET sheet so much that you can't get the parts off without damage, it's more tha...

Re: Layer binding problem

You gotta build an enclosure, or create one around your entire printer when printing ABS.

You want ambient temps around entire printer to be around/at least 30-35c - with no drafts.

Re: collision issue slic3r

I assume you've selected "sequential printing" and set the extruder radius and height clearance? Hard for me to imagine 40 of anything 1 inch tall on the build plate, and not having clearance issues with the extruder head somewhere. What happens when you array 20 parts spaced out more, instead of 40...

Re: Bed leveling problem with new TAZ5

Are you 1000% sure that your TAZ is assembled correctly? Not trying to insult anyone, but it sounds like something wasn't put together quite right. Have you tried switching the clamps in question from back to front? Have you tried rotating the entire build table 180 degrees? You might be able to eli...

Re: Model Imports

If you're creating your own solid models you'll want to save them as STL files, then load the stl file into the slicing program of choice to create your gcode.

Re: Messy print

I'm not a fan of CURA, I use Slic3r and Pronterface. At any rate, did you use a Lulzbot provided profile for ABS? One of these: https://www.lulzbot.com/support/taz-cura-profiles If not - you should use one and see what happens. You should not be getting those little curly-cue strings or globs on you...

Re: Software Pause, Change Filament gcode

The question is, can you move the extruder off part, change filament, then move extruder back and have it hit the exact same spot it was before you stopped things? Having tried this manually, I know it's a crap-shoot. I had FAR better results just pausing the print inside an area of infill, changing...

Re: Roctopuses rock, but sponges sock

Also - if possible, print the infill first, then the perimeters.
I know this is an option in Slic3r and it's been working well for me.

Re: Kisslicer Help - calling mhackney

When you load a part into Kisslicer, and then you click the option to print two or more of those parts, is there a way to change the spacing between the parts? Kisslicer defaults to placing the second part pretty close to the first. Too close in most cases to print each part individually.
