# ABS filament too hot?

Thanks for this post & responses!

Before I started, I was thinking this would be a pretty challenging print for day 2 with our TAZ 5. I was just about to make a post since I am having a similar problem.

We were using Gizmo Dorks green ABS at 225 / 110. (extrusion sounds a little cool after doing more reading, but small parts were coming out nice)

We’ll try cranking up the extrusion to at least 240 next time, bed to 115 & probably see about disabling the material fan.
