Does anyone know if there is any up to date documentation on edition 3.6.8? I purchased a refurb Taz 6 and the manual is for an older version of Cura and many things are different. Going from a Taz 5 to a Taz 6 is also a bit of a learning curve with the self-leveling and the tip wipe etc… A manual for 3.6.8 would be really helpful or at lease some up to date online documentation.
Unfortunately right at this moment we don’t have a guide specifically for navigating the most recent version of Cura, but we do have some other documentation that should help you get acclimated to the new layout which I have included below.
This first thing I would check out is our TAZ Pro quick start guide, it has some general information about navigating through the latest version of Cura that should help you with the very basics of getting started: http://download.lulzbot.com/TAZ/TAZ_Pro/v1.0.0/documentation/qsg/TAZ_Pro_QuickStartGuide_01.pdf
Once you have looked over the TAZ Pro quick start guide and know the basics of where things have been moved to you can check out the quick start guide and what’s new guides on your website that are specifically for Cura, these guides are a few versions out of date so there have been a few layout changes between what is shown in those guides. The major change was that we moved from using icons in the upper right to label the Prepare and Monitor section, we also moved the view mode from the lower left to the upper right and it is now also labeled rather than using an icon.
Past that if you need help navigating to something specific you can contact us in tech support and we can help walk you through locating whatever it is your looking for. I have included our contact information below:
