I changed my TAZ 5 toolhead to a M175 what parameters do I need to change? Feed, retraction, filament size, etc. or can I change everything necessary by changing the printer model? I use Simplify 3D to create my G codes. Thank you
You need to change the firmware to the M175 firmware (Marlin_TAZ5_M175_2.0.0.144.1_ffaa466.hex). In Simplify 3D, you’ll need to make sure you set the filament diameter in your slicer. Feed, retraction and most other speeds should be fine.
