# Issue with Taz 6 and SL 0.25mm Extruder

Just bought a new Taz 6 setup with heated enclosure, the stock 0.5mm extruder prints beautifully but I can’t for the life of me get the SL 0.25mm extruder to print anything.

After installing the SL 0.25mm printhead and updating the firmware, I can connect to the Taz 6 and manually extrude ABS no problem. But whenever I print an object the extruder gear doesn’t appear to advance at all. Stock ABS filament and settings in Cura.
