Material for Wade gears

Hello all,

For once I will be proactive (or thinking about it anyway!) and will print some extra parts while the printers are enjoying a bit of down time.

What is the best material to use on the Wade gears and other X-carriage components?
ABS, Taulman 618, 645 or T-Glase? Or other?

Thanks
Mac

ABS seems to be the general material of choice if you cannot print high temperature nylon. You would need a different nozzle than a buddaschnozzle to print the higher temperature materials.

Thanks

I have another printer with E3d hotends so temp is not an issue.

So… a Taulman then?

if you can print it well, no reason not to.
