Hi All,
Just received my Taz 4. If this is a dumb question, just point me in the right direction.
I have a fair bit of experience in CAD and CNC. This is my first 3D printer. I have read the manual, watched the guides (which are average at best), loaded the software and assembled my printer. As I would understand it, I now need to do the following;
- Turn it on.
- Connect to the software
- zero the Z-Axis
- level the bed
- load the profile for abs
Did I miss anything?
While I have watched the guides and several unboxing videos. it doesn’t tell me what height I should have the z axis calibration above the bed. Is it the thickness of a sheet of paper? Is it trial and error? Also, do you you use the controller on the printer or pronterface to zero the axii?
Weher is the really good guide that shows you this?
