# Permanently Printing on Plexiglass

I’m building an enclosure that will have a display in the front face. I want it to be water resistant so I don’t want to just print a hole for the display. I was thinking about whether it is possible to fuse filament to plexiglass. That way I could basically just print a mask in plastic filament on the plexiglass, leaving some holes to guide drilling, and a blank space for the display so it could be seen. So I’m wondering if anyone has tried printing on plexiglass and if so, what it takes to make a permanent bond.
