I printed a temperature tower to try to determine the best settings for a new reel of Polymaker Polylite PLA. In the photo, the temperature starts at 230 degrees on the bottom step and drops 5 degrees with each step upward.
The machine is a TAZ6 with the original hexagon single extruded. The Cura settings are all default except for the extrusion temperature for each step. The layer thickness is 0.25.
One edge of the 45 degree angled sections is deformed for all temperatures with the 230 degree step seemingly least affected.
I know seeing detail on a black print is hard. But, can you offer ideas as to what is causing the deformed edge and also any other suggestions based on the photos?
