Hi all
Just started my 3d printing , i have a Taz5 and created a model in 3dsmax , and exported it to slicer . however it reduced the proportions by 1000% . I have double checked the 3ds max files but is this a known issue or is there a reference i need to set up somewhere ?

Thank you.

1 Meter is 1000 mm. My guess is that your model was either drawn in the wrong scale, or exported in the wrong scale. It’s not a normal or usual issue at all. it is possible to re-scale a model in Slic3r, but it doesn’t do it by default.
