# Swap to E01 extruder connection Taz 5 controller

Hello all,

It appears I have a failed E0 extruder driver on the rambo control board.  
I understand I can reconnect the extruder to the second extruder connector E01.  
I can do that!

But this also requires a modification to the firmware. I’ve seen posts on what to change.  
But the how is a little beyond my current skill set.

Does anyone know if there is available an already modified and compiled firmware that I can install? Or could someone that has done this share theirs?
