# Taz 5 had Marlin firmware

I just got my taz five back from my son, and find it now has firmware from Marlin on it.

Is there any reason this firmware is better than the standard firmware? Can I switch back?. Should I switch back?.

The reason I ask is on large prints. The printer resets.

I am searching for the problem.

LulzBot printer firmware by default is Marlin.  
So that sounds correct.

If you are able to elaborate on the specific issue you are having with the printer we may be able to assist a bit more with the possible causes and fixes.
