USB Ethernet Extender

Has anyone run their TAZ over a USB ethernet extender? Something like http://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-Extender-CAT5E-Connection-150ft/dp/B003L14ZTC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1414251541&sr=8-1&keywords=usb+extender+cat6

I don’t really have room for my printer near my computer, and the strange wireless USB Hub I’ve been using (which connects through wifi to my router) has been giving me a lot of problems so I wanted to try this out instead.

Be aware that particular converter only supports a USB 1.0 bandwidth connection. There are USB 2.0 ones out there that should work, but I would avoid that particular one personally.

I snagged a Raspberry Pi and put Octoprint on it instead.
