We have a lot of 1.75mm ABS from our other brand of 3D printers. We are looking to buy the Taz6 and are wondering if the filament will run in it. I hear that you can tweak the filament diameter settings in cura or whatever slicing software you are using and it works. Has anyone been able to do this with the Taz6 out of the box?

Mecahnically and fillament pathwise, the Taz 5 extruder is identical to the Taz 6, so this thread may be of interest: [https://forum.lulzbot.com/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=1877&hilit=1.75mm](https://forum.lulzbot.com/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=1877&hilit=1.75mm)

Thank you. This works for me, especially since forum admin “jebba” confirmed it.
