Newly rebuilt tool head and a new roll of PLA, so why does it look so rough? From my Taz 6, 2.85 PLA, 200°/60° at .12 layer height and 20% Infill
I’m fairly certain this is due to the filament needing to be dried. As you may or may not know, even filament straight from sealed packages still * should * go through the drying process to remove any moisture from the filament itself. You can use an oven, though its not recommended- a drying system (such as the one from Matter Hackers) is preferred and really pays for itself over time.
