I just uploaded my gears to thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:483200
They’re much thicker than stock gears and should improve prints slightly. The stepper gear should also last longer.
Make sure to read instructions: these gears will not work unless you change your firmware.
Gear ratio changes from 47:9 to 37:13.

Sweet! That’s rather stout.
You will have to change your esteps, but your estep value won’t be exactly the same as everyone elses- it will be close enough to get moving:
WARNING: even though they’re direct replacements, you still need to modify your firmware! You need to change the E steps in your configuration marlin file. Change E to “424”, compile, then upload to TAZ.
DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT {X,Y,Z,424}
We have a guide on calibrating your esteps here: https://ohai-kit.alephobjects.com/workflow/extruder_calibration/

Thank you for posting that guide.
I found a similar guide online when coming up with my number. Having said that, there’s no need to change my number.
I can not guarantee quality improvements with my gears if you deviate/change it much from 424.
I’ve tested them thoroughly with my Budaschnozzle 2, SG2 and the much hyped E3Dv5.
