We're working through how well this will work as a "product" vs. a project.

The extruder body looks to have the bugs worked out, so the .stl is now on Thingiverse http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1917179

Here's the onshape project. https://cad.onshape.com/documents/056fe ... 97f92728f4
As you can see, We're also working on a version for the Mini, but haven't achieved a satisfactory extruder arrangement yet

I love my Taz 6, but not too happy with the Flexydually. Really just need more precision, so this seems like a great upgrade. Do you have a list of materials I need to make this, or any kind of build log?

No build log yet, I'll keep posting here until it's time for the "product" to get it's own thread. I'm not yet comfortable that we've worked the bugs out, so this is still a "project"

Anyhow here's what you need to build your own:

Order:
- Flexion for e3d hotend https://flexionextruder.com/shop/extrud ... 3d-hotend/
- E3D V6, 1.75, non-bowden, 24V. Our friends at Matter Hackers have the right one at a good price https://www.matterhackers.com/store/pri ... direct-24v
- 30x10 5v fan for the heatsink https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/ ... ND/2757812
- Brass heat inserts. For convenience, we sell singles of the 5 sizes needed for all LulzBot printed parts. If you need a bunch, we even list the mcmaster #s so you can order there for less :). You (should??) need 8 of the 94180A331 M3x3.8 https://itworks3d.com/product/metric-br ... -plastics/
- (1) Limit switch https://itworks3d.com/product/limit-switch/
- (2) 40mm 24v 2 wire filament fans. https://itworks3d.com/product/fan-24v-40mm/
- Wires and pins to make the wiring harness. We have the 2x8 housings https://itworks3d.com/product/molex-2-r ... ool-heads/ We'll post the pins here soon
- Half height stepper. I've been using the "black" https://itworks3d.com/product/nema-17-s ... lf-height/

Print:

Left fan duct http://devel.lulzbot.com/TAZ/Olive/prod ... duct_left/
Right fan duct: http://devel.lulzbot.com/TAZ/Olive/prod ... uct_right/

Now, what did I forgot? :)

Thanks so much for posting all of this! What bugs/problems have yall seen with this setup? If they are minor, I might go ahead and start putting this together.

So far, no deal breakers, though attending to sales has sidetracked extensive testing. It's currently installed on our demo TAZ 5, and I'm "learning" :)
- If you want to print with this dual fan toolhead on a TAZ 5, filament cooling is excessive, just the same as if you swapped to a TAZ 6 V2.1 toolhead. Either stick with a single filament cooling fan, or be prepared for extensive testing to find correct cooling settings. I'm still working on the profile.
