should there be a inline fuse on the hotbed

I had a failure on the connection for the hotbed it must have vibrated loose and I didn’t catch it till it was too late. My question is should there be an inline fuse and if so how many amps should it be rated for.

There is one. It is the big blue automotive 15 Ampere one in three of your pictures. That is how much the heat bed draws when it is first heating up.

The pins on that connection are also rated for 11 amp apperently. I’ve been trying to find a good higher amperage replacement connection that will fit in that location, The closest i’ve came so far is a speakon amplifier panel mount connection which is about 7mm bigger on all sides at the mount plate, so not ideal dimensions. I’m looking for something else still though.
