has anyone thought of… or maybe built… a modified TAZ with increased Z axis?
what I’m talking about is a much taller TAZ to print taller objects… say a metre tall?

The problem you run into if you go too tall is going to be bed adhesion. Once you go up much past the stock bed height with a print that has any mass to it, it’s going to fall off the bed at any sort of speed. Moving bed printers lend themselves well to really long or really flat beds, but not really tall things so much.
