Running a 'Cold' Head

Post by tagscott » Fri Oct 19, 2018 10:48 pm

I have a Kittaz that I want to operate as a plotter and later as a diecutter. I have designed a new head to hold a pen but if I disconnect the extruder head to swap out the new one I get a mintemp error. Is there a way to disable this or fool it so I can use the pen plot head with out having the extruder plugged in?

A 100K ohm resistor across the thermistor pins will eliminate the mintemp error. These pins are the last two on the end with both wires the same color (orange) on my TAZ 6. You will have to figure out which pins on your printer.
