After my first few prints, I noticed that the stepper motors getting hot while operating. I designed an 80mm fan shroud Zip-on which alleviated this. Now I can print all day and no hot stepper motors. The larger stepper motors I deal with at work every day all have forced cooling and heat sink fins and remain slightly warm but not hot to the touch, therefore I thought that this would be a good thing to have on my 3-D printer, and they are.
