mini rambo 1.x vs mini rambo 1.3x

Hi All

Is it possible to flash mini rambo 1.x firmware on a mini rambo 1.3x. Is the new board backward compatible?


I want to explore upgrading a 3d printer using the older mini rambo to take advantage of the lcd connectors on the new mini rambo 1.3

They are compatible.


Prusa may still have an LCD connector kit that he created for the older boards to allow you to connect an LCD to them. If you don’t want to go through the hassle of replacing your board you might look into the adapters.
