Two instances of Cura simultaneously on one computer?

Look here for custom firmware, networked 3D printer hosts like OctoPrint, and more!

Two instances of Cura simultaneously on one computer?

Post by tetralite » Sun Jan 21, 2018 8:54 pm

I'm wondering if it is possible to run two printers (both via USB) simultaneously from one computer by running two instances of Cura. I notice that I can indeed run two instances, but haven't tried running the TAZ6 on one and the Mini on the other at the same time. Before I try it, I wanted to see if anyone knows if it's possible.

The local Maker space has done it a number of times over the last few years that I know of. So I would say yes it can be done.

Thanks, kmanley57, I guess I'll give it a try.
