Filtered B Splines Double The Print Speed On The TAZ

Does anyone know if Marlin development or Lulzbot is working on adding Filtered B Splines to the TAZ firmware (or possibly Cura if that would work) to double the print speed of the TAZ from 50 mm/s to 100 mm/s while still obtaining the same print quality like these researchers were able to do:

Probably not until far more processing power is available on the control board…
