NylonX is the best, who else prints it on a mini?

this is my new favorite filament.

Sure you need hardened extruder parts (aerostruder with hardened gears, break, nozzle),
and you have to crank up the heat to 270 (lower makes the parts weak and brittle),
and you need to dry it and keep it dry,
but it prints so well, and makes great looking and VERY stiff and strong parts.
Also the support material comes off as one ribbon, it seperates well if setup correctly (1 layer z gap)

CFPLA is stiffer, but the nylon just flows MUCH better, and is still plenty stiff.

PVA glue on the pei sheet works fine to hold moderate size parts, but may be damaging the pei over time (pulling it up). going for garolite next.

Anybody else use NylonX ?

I have a TAZ 5 I just got my first roll of 3DXTech’s CarbonX, which is a carbon-fber-nylon equivalent. I also do have a hardened steel 0.6mm nozzle that I’m about to install, but I wanted to do a test print, so here is my second print with the original 0.5mm brass nozzle. I cobbled together a Cura printing profile from a Carbon-PLA profile and a Nylon profile.

Print is not perfect, I’ve never really tried to custom make a profile before.

I am actually using a 0.4mm nozzle and it is working great… 26hour print no jams.
But I do have the nozzle in Cura called out as a 0.35mm
