Toolhead storage solution - latch and holder

I’m always trying to make the most out of the space I have and realized the other day that not only were my 3 alternate toolheads taking up a whole shelf in my cabinet but that I had unused space in the back of my enclosure on the flat walls so the idea hit me to print out and fasten several x-carriage guides to the back and sides of my enclosure and design this print-in-place latch to hold the toolheads in place in their mounted orientation.

Looks pretty cool too.

So I thought I would share in hopes some of you might find it useful.

For those that may care to know, that’s my Flexystruder v1 on the left, the V2 Dual extruder on right back, and my 1.75 Single extruder V2 on right wall. All DIY builds…

Cheers

That’s absolutely brilliant.

Yep, doing that. Now.
