Taz 4 to Tool Head v2.1 upgrade

Currently https://www.lulzbot.com/store/tool-heads/lulzbot-taz-single-extruder-tool-head-v21 states that “Earlier LulzBot TAZ versions are not yet supported”. Any idea on when they will become supported?

Also wouldn’t installing https://www.lulzbot.com/store/parts/lulzbot-taz-5-v2c-tool-head-harness and https://www.lulzbot.com/store/parts/internal-blower-harness-add and updating the firmware be enough to use the new tool head?

There are a few fit issues that occur with using a 2.1 extruder on a Taz 4. A couple of which are the left cooling fan hitting the Z height adjustment screw during the home operation, and the right side limit switch of the extruder hitting the X carriage guide twisting the extruder slightly.

Thanks.

So I could place the stock X limit switch on a small extension plate (I don’t mind losing a bit of print surface). And print the new X carriage guide http://devel.lulzbot.com/TAZ/Olive/production_parts/printed_parts/x_carriage_guide/ or just remove the new X limit switch
