Radius the upper corners slightly on the arm that holds the filament spool. The spool will rotate much easier. About 1/32 of an inch or so should do it. I radiused mine with a file and turns much better and got rid of the fine powder from the spool.
You will probably spend more time on version control than fixing the part.
