Wanting to thoroughly clean an unmounted SE tool head. Last use was printing polycarbonate at max temperature.
Have 24V power supply. Can I just send 24V to heater block… or what max voltage needed to get heater to 285c?
This sounds scary to me. Without the feedback from the thermistor to control the temperature, I’d think a meltdown is inevitable.
I’ve always thought that an extension cable would be useful in these circumstances.
