Post by cbiscuit34 » Mon Jul 10, 2017 9:11 pm

so my issue began hen my hinged idler arm broke. it is broken off on one side and the other side is cracked real good. no matter how much i tighten it down there seems to be no force applied to the filament. basically no filament is fed through. i dont think the nozzle is clogged cause i can get some out if i push the filament down. please any help would be awesome. again to restate/ the hinged idler is broken, filament is not being fed in properly, cant print new hinged idler...

You need a new idler arm, if you can get the machine printing you can print one. If your extruder is ABS you can temporarily repair the broken part by solvent welding with acetone. Cyanoacrylate glue is another option, either should work well more than is needed to print the new part. What model of printer/extruder do you have? You'll need to know this so you can download and print the right part.
