Is it safe to leave a lulzbot printer near a window with direct sunlight?

Hello everyone. Lulzbot printers are made of 3D printed parts. I’m assuming that they are ABS plastic.
Is it safe to leave the printer that gets exposure to direct sunlight?
I heard ABS plastic has problems in sunlight.
Thanks.

Usually ABS doesn’t have too many issues in direct sunlight, but it will wear out faster over time. PLA tends to have more issues in direct sunlight, but when it’s all said and done, it’s not the end of the world if the printer is in direct sunlight, but I’d recommend putting it somewhere out of the light (like a true basement dweller  ).

Plus a BLACK printer might hurt to touch from the absorbed radiant heat!
