If my Z-offset is -1.19 and I need to print on material that is .1mm thick, do I just add those dimensions and change Z-offset to -1.09?
You can! Also remember to clamp it down or it will curl right up off the bed as the material cools. 
Tried printing PLA on some laser printer paper but not good adhesion… just flaked off. What build plate temp do you use? Paper? Filament?
