I liked the tiny dot that was there to help line up the silicone feet.

I'm not sure the stepper driver needs a heatsink that big, or at all.

No use for this type of plug in burgerland! Good thing 12V 1.5A is the same everywhere.

The scanner works way better if the line lasers are vertical, but there wasn't anything about orientation in the assembly instructions.

The calibration plate was a little damaged in shipping, but it still seemed to work ok.

I need to find an inexpensive source for the electronics somewhere. I can print or source all the rest of the parts easily enough. Definitly looks like a neat little scanner!

Ya, we're trying to figure out what to do about the electronics. Right now, BQ doesn't ship to the USA (afaict), so you have to get the scanner from a UK reseller. Would be nice to have something in the US.
