Buda repair question

Hi Guys,

Quick question, I just blew my resistor, have a new one to go, in hand, but looking at how the resistor is coupled to the wires, what do you guys use? Trying to keep the repair as factory like as possible.

Thanks!

My google-foo must be suffering with my cold,

Glad to hear you found the guide!

If you have trouble obtaining the non-insulated wire ferrules, or the PTFE insulating tubing, you can use any kind of crimping connector, and Kapton (polyamide) tape to insulate the leads. As long as you have a tight pysical crimped connection and any exposed leads insulated it’ll be fine. Don’t solder the leads to the harness, as it can get hot enough to fail, usually dripping solder into the printed part, before failing.
