Best way to calibrate Z-offset

Hi everyone. I’m looking for the steps to get my z-offset value dialed in on my Taz 6. The prints come out pretty well but I feel I can get them even better with a z-offset adjustment, but I also don’t want to just start guessing. I did notice that the newest Taz 6 that I bought (I have 3 of them) does not make the stepper sounds like the other two machines when adjusting the z-offset from the LCD. Any ideas on that? Sorry if these questions have been addressed before and I just didn’t see the threads.

Thanks.

In a different thread, someone from Lulzbot mentioned M851 as a method to adjust the z-offset.
