I picked up a second taz 5 from IT works refurb as their price dropped after the 6 released. Couldn’t pass up the deal.
Now the new printer shows marlin 1.0.0.1 firmware in the startup screen and there are more options in it than my original taz5 that is over a year old now. It shows marlin 2015q1 firmware.
Which version should I be running?
Well if you really want the latest that would be 2015Q3.
Thanks, I had also seen a 2016 link somewhere, but I’ve never seen the 1.0.0.1 version before. But it has a lot more options than my current taz has. Is it a more generic type? It’s what cura said was the “default firmware”
