Trying to Print without Probing

Post by fyshicsLab » Tue Oct 03, 2017 7:53 pm

I am printing with experimental materials. Problem is after extrusion starts it's not easy to retract the material which makes probing a difficult and time consuming process when doing multiple 5 to 8 minute prints. I am trying to bypass the probing sequence before each print on the Lulzbot Mini. My thought is that the best way to go about this is to use g-code to manually input the probe values used from a previous print and use them to calculate the z-offset. The problem is that it seems like all the actions I am trying to carry out through code are contained within the G29 command. Does anyone have a solution or idea to address this problem?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
