One thing to note for those that are bouncing back and forth between the Hex hotend and the Buda, one of the firmware changes is the Max allowed current for the hotend. This is a setting outside of the Pid settings. The Hex allows full current, the Buda is capped at like 35%. If you try to plug the Buda into a firmware that is meant for the Hex you will cook the Buda’s Heater Resistor.
That’s correct. The Bed PID values are currently not stored in EEPROM and will not survive a reboot. Either update Configuration.h and reflash, or add the M304 command to your start gcode to set the Bed PID for each print.
