With the version 3.6.20 I never had any problem loading the Gcode on to an SD card (just one left click), ejecting it and transferring it across to my Mini (with the added LCD screen). However, the 3.6.37 version will only load the Gcode on to the SD card if I left click the mouse button 3 or 4 times (of course, when the cursor is pointed at the correct menu that pops-up when the card is inserted.) I’m using a Mac Mini (running OS 13.2.1), same one I used with the 3.6.20 version. Also, I don’t see any advantage or added functionality to the 3.6.37 - am I missing something?
The updates for 3.6 have mainly centered around adding print profiles, matching updated firmware on the machines, and general bug fixes. If 3.6.20 has been working for you, stick with it, but don’t update firmware without matching slicer software and vice versa.
Thanks for your helpful reply. I think, then,I will go back to 3.6.20, I have never had a problem with it. In fact my Mini + LCD display with cura 3.6.20 has always worked flawlessly for me, no matter if I use PLA, nylon, ABS or PETG (the latter being my polymer of choice). BTW, I switch between 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5mm nozzles depending on the intricacies of the design. Generally I choose 0.3mm to get the best of all worlds.
