I’m new to the Forum, so please forgive me if I’m asking a question with an obvious answer.
I’m trying to save the settings I’m using to print a model on my TAZ 6. I run Cura on Windows 10. After I tweak my settings (Shell, Infill, Travel, Support, etc.), is there a settings or configuration file that I could save to capture the settings I am using for that particular job? If so, where is it located in the Windows 10 file system? Should I save it just before I run the job or afterwards?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Cura LE stores settings within Profiles. While I don’t recall where the files are located by default to save your current settings go to the Profiles drop down at the top and select “Create profile from current settings/overrides…”
That will allow you to save your current setup if you want to use it again.
Under Settings->Profiles->Manage Profiles there is an Import and an Export button if you want to make a backup or use settings provided by other users.
In reality you can use the settings menu or the profile dropdown to do either function as all the same options are present. Hope this helps!
Thanks, I think that will do it.
