Dual Extruders and the TAZ

so glad to see flexi dualy in the store now !

I’ve printed mine after seeing James Bruton’s videos, it’s almost finished, however, I’m looking for a proper file showing the pinout of the connectors and harness, that’s the last step I need to install it.

where can I find this ?

@Orias - nope. The fan connected to T0 (the extruder cabling that shipped with the TAZ4) activates, but T1’s fan does nothing. There’s an extremely tiny chance that I built my cable wrong, but everything else on it works fine so I doubt it. If your tech confirms that the firmware should work I’ll see what happens when I swap the cables around…

Looks like dual fan control isn’t in the firmware, I’ll get a version with dual fan control put together and throw it up here tonight or tomorrow depending on how long it takes. You’ll have a few options as to how to run them in configuration.adv, so you’ll be able to use them as heatsink fans, extrusion fans or a combination

Whatever happened with this? I still can’t turn on the extruder fan on the second extruder.

I never did get around to flashing this hex but it does me no good. I need all the source files so I can tweak the config.h settings for other important control of my printer. Do you have a link to the Taz 5 dual extruder firmware source files? The hex file, while convenient doesn’t allow me to tweak PID values and also set my actual extruder offsets.
