Filling in layers using HIPS (or anything not ABS)

Hi guys,

I do a lot of acetone vapor polishing for my ABS parts, but does anyone have a recommendation for smoothing out the layers on a HIPS part? I know I can stand it but this model has lots of tiny crevices I’d never be able to sand. Suggestions?
