Hole size to print for heat set inserts

Are there any guidelines on how large a hole to print to receive a heat set insert? I searched the forums but the words were deemed too common and ignored :frowning:

You can find the hole sizes for heat sets on McMaster Carr’s website.

This is from memory, but I use a 5.2mm hole with a 4mm depth for a standard M3 heat set insert, and a 7.3mm hole with a 5mm depth for an M5 I think. The longer M3 and M5 ones require a narrower hole with more depth.
