That one is what our hex is based on. Ours has a bigger heater block (for faster printing), and a clamp to keep the heater cartridge and thermistor in. They are pretty similar though. With the toolhead, we also ship the really small blower fan, which is needed (or something similar).
Thanks,

Jeff, for that price, I might just pick one up as a spare…, Would you know if there is anything special about the little turbo fan that your model uses, or would I be able to just connect and mount a second fan blowing directly onto the heatsinks… similar to how the J heads are cooled, or would a dual direction duct work with just one fan? I understand it’s a question you might not have answer for considering how new this hot end is.
You probably want a second fan for it. The little blower we have is ideal, but there are a lot of other options, just small square fans.
Awesome, good to know! Are the little blower fans proprietary or are you sourcing them from somewhere, I’ll have a look around and see what I can find…thanks!
Here’s the blower: http://catalog.pelonistechnologies.com/item/micro-blowers/all-categories-micro-blowers-rfb2008-micro-blower/rfb2008-1?&plpver=1001&origin=keyword&by=prod&filter=0
Ok thanks! looks like they’re all over the net, shouldn’t be too hard order in. Awesome!
By the way, the TAZ and Mini bill of materials are here, so you can look up whatever part you want. They are in LibreOffice spreadsheet format:

(The Mini file is called daffodil cuz that was the production run, but the file should really have a better name.)

Sweet, that’s perfect. Thanks Jeff. Ya I’m not sure why but I always forget about the BOM’s…
please check out this thread, as it evolved into the main something does not heat up thread:

I posted an alternative to the green resistor here (same thread):

ya thanks kv1, ya missed the boat though, they shipped me one of the new hex hotends, right after I ordered a bunch of those green resistors. The swap out was a breeze, nothing to it, I just kept using my original buddashnozzle, when it finally goes, going to swap in the new hexend. Funny, the replacement budda that they sent me, that was supposed to replace my original didn’t make it through a few prints… guess they’re sort of hit or miss.
