I’ve been using HIPS as a inexpensive filament to print heat-resistant parts (storage boxes for parts for board games). With the ongoing quality problems with eSun HIPS, I’m looking for an alternative. PLA is out because it softens in a hot car in the summer.
ABS is the natural choice, but I’ve only used higher end stuff (Village plastics), so it’s pricy and there seems to be a lot of quality issues with some of the cheaper versions.
Any other new and emerging materials out there folks have played with?
