I have had a lot of problems with my Lulzbot Mini and it seems whenever I fix one problem another emerges. This time, the drive gear isn’t pushing the filament into the hotend. I can push the filament through by hand so I know the nozzle isn’t clogged. It require a bit of force though. The Idler assembly is also under a lot of pressure and I’m not sure if that has something to do with it. What should I try now? Any help is appreciated!
Did you try a heat purge what I recommend to try first is to take off the auto detector tube if you use PLA heat it to 245•c then force the PLA through
** note if your not using PLA try cleaning filaments
It shouldn’t require force to push through by hand. I’d check alignment of the extruder to the hot end, and an improperly installed nozzle leaves a gap that leads to jams as well.
Check alignment real quick, then do a few cold pulls until you get a good impression of the interior of the nozzle. Old scorched filament can cause a lot of problems inside the nozzle.
It could be a lot of things, but getting successful cold pulls will rule some things out.
