Outdated Firmware

I have a Lulzbot Mini version 1 with CuraLE 4.13.10. Its only upgrade that I can think of is that I upgraded the nozzle. I’m getting back to using the Mini after a hiatus of a few years, and I’m having trouble getting it to work. My current issue is that when I try to connect to it, I get an error message complaining that my firmware does not match my active printer.

The obvious solution is to upgrade the firmware to the current one. However, doing so and flashing Marlin_Mini_SingleExtruder_1.1.9.28_193d1f804.hex, does not solve the problem. I continue to get the same error.

Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Cura doesn’t automatically upgrade from Marlin 1 to Marlin 2. Assuming windows and default install paths, point the firmware updater to “C:\Program Files\CuraLE 4.13\resources\firmware\Mini\Marlin_Mini_SingleExtruder_2.0.0.144_aded3b617.hex”

If that fails to get Cura to recognize it, you can “allow connection to wrong printers” in Cura’s preferences.
