Procreate and 3d Printing

Hi, Everyone I am a graphical artist and love to create things and designs on procreate on my ipad particularly. I have recently came to know about autocad and 3d printing to create 3d objects. I want to ask can we make 3d objects on from procreate or other 2d graphics designing software other than autocad. I have many innovative ideas and I want to apply them in 3d printing but I am currently only expert in procreate. Need your suggestions thanks.

According to https://www.skillshare.com/blog/learn/procreate-101-everything-you-need-to-know-to-get-started: "Procreate is an award-winning illustration, sketching, and painting app made exclusively for iPad.", i.e. 2D graphics. You will have to expand your knowledge to one (or more) 3D applications.

AutoCAD isn’t the only possibility. Here are some links to some alternatives for the iPad, https://all3dp.com/2/3d-design-app-3d-modeling-ipad-android/, https://3duniverse.org/2020/08/31/top-3-ipad-3d-modeling-apps/. If you don’t limit yourself to just iPad applications, there are other applications like https://www.tinkercad.com/ or https://www.blender.org/.

Thanks Bro. I will definitely try new things and improve my skills.

In addition to what was mentioned above, you might want to look into Shapr3D. Requirements are an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. The app is a direct modeler. I find it rather easy to use and intuitive, and, it can compliment Procreate. You can design something in Procreate, export a 2D image in either Jpeg or Png and import into Shapr3D and use it as a backdrop to create a 3D model. It is a freemium app in that you can play and learn how to use it. The freemium version has limited design workspaces and STL export for 3D printing. I do all my 3D modeling in Shapr3D. BTW, they are soon to release the app to work on a Mac with mouse and keyboard.
