I’m using a Taz5 with no modifications and no opensource/different from manufacture parts. I went to use a 3mm PLA plastic today and the extruder gears simply grinded away at the strand of filament. I tried purging and pushing a strand of cleaning filament through. I tried this at a variety of temps. I also tried the PLA at a variety of temps. I’ve tried adjusting the tension on the gear as well. I’ve had no luck. Unfortunately this printer is not my personal printer and I dont’ have access to acetone. Any other ideas. My settings (minus bed temp and extruder temp) are all default.
