I saw it mentioned somewhere on the forum, but yes you have to increase the bed size in the firmware so it thinks the bed extends that far or it will stop the head before your wiper pad is reached.

The Taz 5 X endplates have two minor things that could be improved. The first is the layout. Ideally you would want the Z rod as close to the ends of the X rods as possible, with the Z leadscrew further out so it has less Z wobble inducing influence. In the Taz 6 they have done this. The other issue with the Taz 5 X endplates is the small amount of flex in the plate at the narrowest point. Under full load without an anti wobble device the plate can flex 0.01mm . Installing an anti wobble or replacing the Z rods with either the Taz 6 configuraiton or something like the Openbuilds one eliminates that issue entirely.
